Atrani & Minori - I T A L Y
I always feel that the best way to explore a place is by foot! So yes, that’s what we did!
The second day we went to Amalfi, we decided to just keep walking and get lost! We eventually realised we have walked into another town – Atrani. From the top of the overpass, I could see the town’s medieval rooftops in a rocky mountain backdrop. It is a quiet fishing village, with only a couple of restaurants and stores, but it remains delightfully local, and opens into the beautiful Italian sea.
As we walked our way back to Amalfi, we decided to go on a bus ride to Minori, a sweet tiny town. As we got off the bus, we hesitated as we could not see anyone around. We wandered through the quiet streets, walked up the mountain, shoot some frames, slowed down and enjoyed the calmness. Before we left, we walked out to the beach where locals were sunbathing and children were running around in the heat. The town was very quiet and only some small businesses were open, but it has its own charm and personality.
Getting lost in the peaceful countryside can only be described as charming, laid back and simply stunning. Take a walk with me, pause, take a deep breath and enjoy the photos :)
