Alberobello - I T A L Y

Having seen dozens of photos of this amazing UNESCO world heritage, I have always wanted to pay a visit to this fairytale-like town: – Alberobello looks like it comes out from a story book! The trulli is a unique type of architecture only found in Puglia, and their origin remains a mystery. These white stone houses with cone-shaped roofs clustered together like a hobbit town, and their roofs are often decorated with mythological symbols.

We spent a day exploring this magical place. It was a delight wandering through the charming streets, admiring the unique architecture and soak up the Italian vibe. Most of the offerings in the craft shops and boutiques are quite nice and tasteful, and we had a lot of fun going up roof tops to enjoy the spectacular view of the city.

Where to eat: Gelateria Gentile (gelato!!), Il Poeta Contadino

Transport: the best airports for Alberobellos are Bari and Brindisi. Unless you are driving, you probably need to change a few bus/trains in order to get to alberobello. (It’s not easy to get there, but totally worth it :) )

Hope you guys enjoy my photos shot on films!
